Alden writes he received a forwarded letter from his mother, Isabella Macdonald Alden, an American author. This missive was written by Aylesworth requesting information on Isabella Alden. Raymond Alden responds to the inquiry and informs Aylesworth where he might find published information on his mother. Also included is the envelope in which this letter was sent and a newspaper clipping briefly describing Isabella Alden's life and writing career. The letter from Aylesworth to Isabella Alden is found in Vault MSS 2 Box 1 Folder 49-50.
