John Falconer about a work Whately was charged with editing and about a proper education in logic; a letter from John Arthur Roebuck to Henrietta Falconer in 1820; two letters from Thomas Falconer to his sister in 1842 and 1850 about the slim prospects for his return to England, their mother's will, Falconer family geneology, and reviews of his work; and a letter to J. P. E. Falconer from a fellow flint collector, dated 1919. Includes a printed bibliography of Falconer family members annotated and corrected by Thomas Falconer (1805-1887); a copy of the pamphlet "Falconer of Leighton", also annotated by Falconer; a printed poem in Welsh and English by Dewi Haran about a meeting with Judge Falconer in 1870; several bookplates; and a manuscript scrap noting Thomas Falconer's birth and christening in 1805. Silhouettes and photographs are of the younger Thomas Falconer at various ages.

A privately printed Falconer family genealogy containing bibliographies of works written by family members which is bound with additional printed items about the family and articles written by Thomas Falconer, and annotated by Thomas Falconer. Tipped in the volume are letters sent to Falconer regarding his writings, and clippings relating to the family. Five small albumen photographs of the Swansea debtor's prison accompany a copy of Falconer's article on "Franchise Gaols." Laid in the volume is a copy of a portrait of Thomas Falconer that appeared in the Illustrated London News of 1882 Sep 16.

Correspondence and transcripts related to Thomas Falconer's involvement in the Santa Fe expedition, his travel on the Mississippi River, and his interest in Oregon. Two original letters from Thomas Falconer dated 1841 and 1842; one 1841 copy of a letter from Galveston related to his affairs; one letter from C. E. Detmold To John Edward Trelawny dated 1842; one 1846 letter (partial) to Falconer from unknown writer; 1909 recollection of Falconer written by his nephew; handwritten transcripts of 1841 New Orleans letter; typed transcript of 1842 San Louis Potosi letter; photograph of Thomas Falconer dated 1854. . page note written from Winchester where he was organist at the cathedral from 1849 to 1865. Letter, to unidentified person [Drake? Black?] who was trying to see him, stating that he's often on the move and difficult to see without an appointment. The letter from Thomas Falconer to John David Falconer, dated Dec. 5, 1841, chronicles Falconer's trip by steamboat down the Mississippi River from Louisville to New Orleans. There is a small sketch of the steamer, the William French. The "Dec." is probably a mistake for Jan. since Falconer was captive in Mexico in December 1941. The January 12, 1842, 3 page letter to Alfred Austin of London was written from San Louis Potosi during the third month of his captivity; it recounts how he became part of the Santa Fe Expedition in June 1842 and continues up to late October 1842.

The diary includes Thomas Falconer's experiences with the Texan Santa Fé Expedition and a sketch by Falconer entitled "Entrance to the Church, within the Alamo at Bexar, Texas, April 22, 1841," a silhouette of Falconer, and a letter from George W. Kendall to Falconer.
