Roberts, Enoch, 1718-1782

Enoch Roberts was a Quaker from Burlington County, New Jersey. He was born on the 27th of the 10th month 1717 (old style) to John Roberts and Mary Elkinton Roberts, the third child out of eight. His first marriage was to Rachel Coles, daughter of Samuel, with whom he had seven children. In 1778, he married Agnes Hewlings, widow of Jacob Hewlings. Roberts was a member of Evesham Monthly Meeting. He died on September 12 1782.
