Roberts, Samuel, 1746-1821
Samuel Roberts was a Quaker from Burlington County, New Jersey. He was born to Enoch Roberts and Rachel Coles Roberts on 7 June 1746, New Style (27th of 3rd month, Old Style). In 1772 he married Hannah Stiles, daughter of Robert Stiles; the couple had nine children together. Roberts was a member of Evesham Monthly Meeting and Chester Monthly Meeting. He died in October 1825.
