Rebecca Stokes Roberts was a Quaker minister who lived in Burlington County, New Jersey. She was born to Joseph Stokes and Judith Lippincott Stokes early in the spring of 1720. In 1741 she married Joshua Roberts (1715-1795), son of John Roberts and Mary Elkinton Roberts; the couple had 7 children together. Roberts first spoke in meeting for worship in 1773, and she was eventually recognized as a minister. She died November 23, 1815.
