Ina Sizer Cassidy was the director of the Federal Writers Project in New Mexico. She and her husband, Gerald Cassidy, were part of the Santa Fe arts community.

Ina Sizer Cassidy, a prominent member of the community was born on a ranch in Colorado. She moved to Santa Fe in January, 1912. She died in 1965. She was the wife of painter Gerald Cassidy. As a writer on the subjects of artists and and art, she served as Director of the Federal Writer's Project in New Mexico and wrote articles about art and artists for the New Mexico Magazine. She participated in the New Mexico Association on Indian Affairs, the Spanish Colonial Arts Society, the Historical Society of New Mexico, was a founder of the Folklore Society of New Mexico, and was active in the Daughters of the American Revolution. She became a charter member of the National League of Women Voters in the state, after having participated in the women's suffrage movement.

Resident of Santa Fe beginning in 1912, Ina Sizer Cassidy devoted her life to the preservation of New Mexico's cultural heritage. She served as the Director of the Federal Writers' Project from 1935-1939, and was a member of the New Mexico Association of Indian Affairs, the New Mexico Historical Society, and the Spanish Colonial Arts Society. She was married to Gerald Cassidy, and was the author of many pieces dealing with the folklore of the Southwest.
