Lewis, Morgan, 1754-1844
Biographical notes:
Lewis served in the American army during the Revolutionary War. He was a member of the New York Supreme Court from 1790-1804, and governor of New York from 1804-1807. Later, her served in the New York Senate and was a general in the War of 1812.
