Biographical notes:
Caleb Evans was a Quaker associated with Evesham Monthly Meeting, Haddonfield Monthly Meeting, and Upper Evesham Monthly Meeting. He was bron to William and Rebecca Evans on the 13th of the 2nd month 1737. In 1756 he married Abigail Thorn, daughter of Robert Hunt; the couple had seven children together. In 1769, he was disowned by the Evesham Monthly Meeting.
