JPL Significant Event Reports Collection, 1969-1971.

The items in the collection were collected by Forest S. Gibson as part of his duties as Manager of the Executive Secretariat. The collection consists of significant event reports, all in the form of interoffice memoranda, arranged chronologically. 25 folders are stamped or marked "JPL Discreet." The original positions of JPL Discreet material in the collection have been marked with separation sheets. The material has been moved to a box at the end of the collection. Most of the significant event reports from Brooks T. Morris, Manager of Quality Assurance and Reliability, Section 150; Dwain F. Spencer, Manager, Space Technology Applications, Section 511; and Fred H. Felberg, Assistant Laboratory Director for Plans and Programs, Section 130, were marked as Discreet. Between September 1969 and August 1970 nearly every report by the three were marked as Discreet.
