Elisha Hooton was a Quaker associated with Evesham and Haddonfield Monthly Meetings. He was born around the year 1749 and married Esther Hunt, daughter of Robert Hunt, in 1770, with whom he had five children named Samuel, William, Martha, Aaron, and Elizabeth. He died in 1811.
