Hunt, Joseph, 1768-1856
Joseph Hunt was a Quaker from Burlington County, New Jersey. He was born to John Hunt and Esther Warrington Hunt on the 8th of the 2nd month 1768, the third child out of ten. In 1794, he married Agnes Haines, daughter of Issac and Deborah Haines. According to John Hunt’s journal, the couple had a male child born in April 1796, and a daughter named Deborah. Hunt was a member of Evesham Monthly Meeting. He died in the year 1856.
