Mark Reeve was a Quaker minister from southern New Jersey. He was born to Joseph and Eleanor Reeve on 12th month 28, 1723, old style (10 March 1724, new style). In 1761 he married Hannah Foster, daughter of William Foster, under care of Evesham Monthly Meeting. As a minister Reeve traveled widely in North America. He advocated zealously for the end of slavery. Mark Reeve died on the 25th day of the 10th month, 1788, in the 65th year of his age.
