Springer, Frank
Variant namesSpringer was an attorney in Santa Fe and Las Vegas, New Mexico who was involved in litigation over the Maxwell Land Grant and other land cases. He also served as president of the New Mexico Bar Association, and an official of the Museum of New Mexico.

Frank Springer was born in Wapello, Iowa, 1848. He settled in Cimarron, New Mexico in 1873. He served as president of the New Mexico Bar Association and was a two time member of the New Mexico Legislative Council. He was an active promoter and supporter of the Museum of New Mexico and after his retirement in 1906 studied paleontology. Springer died in 1927.

Frank Springer was born in Wapello, Iowa in 1848. He graduated from the State University of Iowa, and was admitted to the Iowa Bar in 1869. He moved to New Mexico in 1873 and settled in Cimarron. Springer was elected president of the New Mexico Bar Association in 1890. He achieved his greatest professional success as the attorney for the Maxwell Land Grant Company. He retired from his profession in 1906, turning his attention to scientific study and research.
