Elizabeth Warrington Haines Evans was a Quaker elder from southern New Jersey. She was born Elizabeth Warrington on September 14th, 1739 (7th month 3rd, old style), to Henry and Elizabeth (Bishop) Warrington. In 1763 she married Edmund Haines. The couple had two children before Edmund died in 1766: Sarah, who died at a young age, and Hannah, who became a Quaker minister and was married to Joseph Thornton and Peter Yarnall. In 1787 Elizabeth remarried, this time to widower Enoch Evans. She died in September 1805, and was recognized as an elder of her meeting.
