BIOGHIST REQUIRED Samuel Spewack, 1899-1971 (Columbia College B.A., 1919) and Bella Cohen Spewack, 1899 1990, were authors of Broadway plays and musicals, novels, short stories, and articles. They were also foreign correspondents for Europe and Russia for the New York World, 1919-1926, and the New York Herald Tribune, 1922-1926, respectively.
