Biographical notes:
William Foster was born on the 13th day of the 12th month, 1706 (Old Style). He was the son of Josiah and Mary Foster and his siblings were Rebekah and Hannah. He was married to Hannah (Core) Foster. The couple had 12 children, Sarah, Elizabeth, Hannah, Rebekah, Amy, Mary, Josiah, Martha, Abigail, Phebe, William, and Lydia. He died on the 1st day of the 11th month, 1778.
