Scrapbook of programs, reviews, broadsides, etc., from classical music and choral music concerts, performed in the Boston area, the bulk of which date from 1856 and 1885. Much of the materials concern the Handel and Haydn Society, Cecilia Society of Boston, and Harvard Musical Association. Many with manuscript annotations. Collection also includes a few programs for benefit performances given for the elderly and Union soldiers. Reviews clipped primarily from Boston publications.
