Include correspondence, articles, book reviews, lecture notes and clippings. The collection consists of Halle's correspondence files. Chief topics include the Cold War, deterrence and control of nuclear weapons; ideology; international relations; literature, especially Shakespeare; ornithology; outer space; philosophy; science; United States history, politics and foreign relations in the 20th century; and wildlife conservation.
