Israel Stollman collection of stereographs and postcards. [ca. 1860-1930]

The collection includes three boxed sets of stereographs: Australia through the stereoscope and Russia through the steroscope, both published by Underwood & Underwood; and Ireland, published by Stereo-Travel Co. Additionally there is a smaller set of Underwood & Underwood stereographs of Washington, D.C. and Virginia. Miscellaneous stereographs include views of Chicago, Cincinnati, Cleveland, New York, and San Francisco (taken by Eadweard Muybridge); three views of international expositions (1893, 1933), and four tissue stereographs of European views. Also included is a postcard album assembled by an unknown collector to house postcards gathered on several trips made between 1906-1926. Countries represented include Italy, Greece Switzerland, Austria, Mexico and Cuba, and China, Korea, Japan, and Thailand.
