Parting [manuscript] : for voice and piano, 1947 / Peter Sculthorpe. [1947]

Original manuscript score (2 p.) of a setting of the poem "Wenn zwei voneinander scheiden" by Heinrich Heine, translated by Sir Robert Garran. The piece was composed in Melbourne in 1947 when Sculthorpe was 17 years of age. It is signed and dated February 1947. In addition there is a note written by Sculthorpe in June 1979, authenticating and explaining the manuscript.
