Three letters written from Fort George (Dec. 19, 1763; Apr. 22, 1764) and Flushing, New York City (May 25, 1764) to Sir William Johnson, British Indian superintendent, regarding ammunition for the Indians and militia to guard the Albany frontier near Schoharie and Cherry Valley. Colden also requests advice concerning the issuance of licenses for the Indian trade and mentions the events at Detroit and Niagara.
