Collection consists of the personal and government papers collected by Karl Sternberg during his tenure as an employee of the New Mexico Legislative Finance Committee (1965-1972). The bulk of the collection is publications from the New Mexico Legislative Finance Committee, the New Mexico Legislative Council, and various other New Mexico state agencies. Subjects include the Public Employees Retirement Association and the Governor's Committee on Reorganization of State Government. Also included are Sternberg's personal papers (1969-1971). Included are letters, his working files for his personal study of New Mexico's economy, and some special studies and reports from various New Mexico state agencies.
