Danish immigrants. Henry Matthew Sonnichsen, son of Momme-Melf and Jette Sonnichsen, was born in Denmark in 1873 and came to America with his family. The Sonnichsens moved from New York to Iowa where they settled, and Henry met and married Mary Hults, daughter of Sam Hults and Nancy Jane Clifton Hults.
