Photograph album includes images taken during the Ohio River Improvement Celebration and the Lights Golden Jubilee in October 1929. Photographs form the River Celebration include numerous images of steamboats on the river, the Monongahela Wharf and photographs of planners of the event. Photographs from the Lights Golden Jubilee were taken during evening festivities and include illuminated downtown buildings and a parade that featured floats from numerous Pittsburgh companines including Gulf Oil, Mellon Bank, Alcoa, Carnegie Steel, Jones and Laughlin, Harris Amusement (Nickelodeon) and numerous others. Photographs were taken by Trinity Court Studio.
