Helen Reybold worked as a Zephyrette, or hostess, on the Burlington Zephyr from 1938 to 1939. The Burlington Zephyr, which is a branch of the California Zephyr, was a well-known and elite train charter that catered to passengers from California to Chicago and many major cities in between.
