Helen Reybold worked as a Zephyrette, or hostess, on the Burlington Zephyr from 1938 to 1939. The Burlington Zephyr, which is a branch of the California Zephyr, was a well-known and elite train charter that catered to passengers from California to Chicago and many major cities in between. In December, 1939, Miss Reybold retired from her hostess schedule and married Mr. Ralph Hubman, a University of Colorado Geology graduate. Helen Reybold Hubman died in 1987.
