Saying [in 1870] that Richter has again held their banner high by refusing to conduct a defective Rheingold in Munich and by guiding a successful Lohengrin to port [in Brussels], and discussing [in 1875] productions of Tannhäuser and Lohengrin in Vienna, criticizing the casting of Frau [Marie] Wilt as Elisabeth, reminding [Leonard] Labatt that he must sing all of the second finale--Wagner will have no cuts--, asking that all cuts in Lohengrin be restored, noting that even if Sigr. [Georg] Müller roars like a lion it will be all right, etc.
