Thanking him for sending the last issue of Il mondo artistico with the favorable review of Pont du vertige, mentioning a performance of [Bellini's] Sonnambula he directed in Philadelphia--which, Sturani and Campanini having declined, was given to Parelli--, and of [Strauss's] Salome, in which Tetrazzini did not wish to sing with Sturani because, she said, he does not know how to accompany her, etc.
