Thanking him for the books, saying he likes "Freundliche Vision," which will perhaps serve as a companion piece to his "Traum durch die Dämmerung," saying he likes Mottl's Pan im Busch, that he has recommended to Pierson that it be performed, that he considers Scheerbart's Kometentanz, although pretty and amusing, absolutely unperformable, expressing amazement at Birnbaum's communication about Wolzogen's comments on the libretto [of Feuersnot], mentioning Thuille, etc.
