Thanking him for sending something, which pleased him very much, saying he will be in Stuttgart in October to give a large evening of ballads, recalling that the last time he sang in his fatherland, in [Wagner's] Rienzi, he got influenza that lingered half a year, saying that he will sing Pischek's famous aria "Lass o Herr Dein heilig Zeichen," Schumann's "Des Sängers Fluch," "[Die beiden] Grenadiere," [Loewe's] "Tom d[er] R[eimer]," also "Todte Soldat," "Blumen Rache"--"ein Riesenprogram."
