Autograph letter signed, dated : Leipzig, 13 January 1837, to N[icolas] Mori at Mori & Lavenu in London, 1837 Jan. 13.

Saying that he has only just finished the third of the three manuscripts that they agreed to publish in England--two have already been published (the Romances sans paroles and 3 Caprices) and he hopes they will excuse the delay of the third (the 6 Preludes and Fugues for piano)--, adding that the German publisher of the works, Breitkopf & Härtel, will send Mori a copy about the beginning of February, asking Mori to send a copy of the works to his friend Klingemann, saying Mr. [William Sterndale] Bennett will perform his concerto in Leipzig the coming Thursday, asking to be remembered to Mr. Attwood, etc.
