Papers, 1838-1911.

The papers of the Rev. Harry Woodcock consist largely of his autobiographical writings in manuscript. These writings describe Rev. Woodcock's youth in New Hampshire (ca. 1820-39), his student days at Oberlin College (1840-48) and his Congregational ministry (1848-70). Of special interest are the letters and copies of letters received by Woodcock from his sister, Lucy Angela Woodcock, describing her missionary work in Jamaica from 1853 to 1876.
