Papers, 1842-1860.

Collection consists of three bound volumes of Howell material. The first two volumes include letters, reports, and statements relating to the Howell-Graves controversy in the 1850's and 1860's. The third volume is a book of sermons by Howell. The sermons date from 1842 to 1860. All of the documents are handwritten papers either by Howell or copies written by his daughter.
