Sarah Harder papers, 1950-2009 (bulk 1970-2000).

Papers, mainly 1970-2000, of Sarah Harder, a long time education administrator at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire as well as an advocate in women's issues. Harder was involved with and held executive positions on the national and international level in many women's groups which are represented in the collection. Papers documenting her involvement with these groups include but not limited to: American Association of University Women (AAUW); International Federation of University Women (IFUW); Wisconsin Women's Council (WWC); Wisconsin Women's Network (WWN). Also included is her work on the Civil Rights Restoration Act (CRRA) and the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA); her interest with Russian/Soviet women's movements and the United Nations women's advocacy activities; and other interests concerning women including children, reproductive rights, as well as AIDS, drug and alcohol abuse, and the international peace movement.
