Panoramic Studios was established in 1945 by Herman Abrams and his son Leonard. The firm constructed scale models of buildings and land development sites for various architects and city, state and government planning agencies. During the period of this collection the Commission was composed of twelve mayoral appointees, two members of City Council, and one of the Commissioners of Fairmount Park.
