Bond of indenture, 1796 April 1.

Bond and warrant of attorney in which Daniel Rush, yeoman, of Northern Liberties in the County of Philadelphia binds himself to John Child, farmer, of Bristol Township, in return for the sum of £800. The bond is also signed by Robert Morris and Benjamin Love.

Robert Morris was born in England, but at thirteen he went to live with his father in Chesapeake. He originally voted against the Declaration of Independence, but eventually signed it in August.
