Maurice Edward Crumpacker was an attorney of Portland, Oregon in the years 1912-1924. He co-authored the Oregon Bonus Law and founded the Loyal Legion of Loggers and Lumbermen during World War I "as a means of harmonizing employers and employees in attaining efficient lumber production and combating the spread of IWW [International Workers of the World] doctrines."
