Rebecca Roberts Cowperthwaite was a Quaker minister from Burlington County, New Jersey. She was born the 8th of 8th Month 1750, old style (19 October 1750, new style), to Joshua Roberts and Rebecca Stokes Roberts. In 1772 she married Hugh Cowperthwaite, and the couple had 5 children over the next dozen years. Cowperthwaite was a member of Evesham Monthly Meeting, and joined Chester Monthly Meeting when it was set off from Evesham in 1803. She was recognized as a minister by the Society of Friends. Rebecca Roberts Cowperthwaite died on May 3, 1827.
