Politican and businesswoman; Isabella Greenway served as Democratic National Committeewoman for Arizona in 1928 and 1932. In 1933, she was elected to Congress and served until 1936. She was born Isabella Selmes in 1886, married first to Robert Munro Ferguson in 1905, then to John C. Greenway in 1923, and later to Harry O. King in 1939. John C. Greenway was a mining engineer and Rough Rider in the Spanish-American War; he was General Manager of the Calumet & Arizona Copper Company, New Cornelia Copper Co. and Cornelia & Gila Bend Railway, and Vice-President of the Ahumada Lead Company. He was instrumental in developing the mining community of Ajo, Arizona.

John C. Greenway, vice-president of the Calumet & Arizona mining company married Isabella in 1923. After John's death in 1926, Isabella built the Arizona Inn in Tucson, Ariz. She served as Democratic National Committeewoman for Arizona in 1928 and 1932. In 1933, she was elected to Congress and served until 1936. From 1941 to 1943, Isabella was national chairman of the American Women's Voluntary Services.
