Murphey, Walter Edgar, 1859-1934.
Biographical note: Real Estate and Insurance agent; Walter Murphey, Sr. became Assistant Surveyor General for Arizona following his arrival in the State in 1894. He developed land surrounding the University of Arizona and was a founder of the original Old Pueblo Club.
