Dalton, Michael, -1648?
Variant namesMichael Dalton (d. 1648?), legal writer, was the son of Thomas Dalton of Hildersham, Cambridgeshire. He lived at West Wratting in Cambridgeshire, and served as J.P. for the county, as well as commissioner of sequestrations (1648). His writings included The countrey justice (1618) and Officium vicecomitum, or the office and authoritie of sheriffs (1623).
