Whitcomb, John Merrall, 1907-,
Biographical notes:
John Merrall Whitcomb was born in New York City in 1907, moving with his family to Dedham, Massachusetts, in 1911. He graduated from Yale University in 1930 and studied at the University of Pennsylvania Architectural School. Whitcomb returned to Dedham and worked as an architect until his retirement. He served in the United States Army Air Corps Intelligence Division during World War II. Whitcomb died in Jamaica Plain, Massachusetts, on February 3, 1997.
