Biographical notes:
Ethelbert Nevin was born in 1862 at Edgeworth near Sewickley, Pa. He entered the Western University of Pennsylvania and then his father's business but found music was his true callling. He began to compose his own music and became a huge success. He continued to compose until his death in 1901.
