William Morris Hughs was born on September 25th 1862 in Pimlico London. His employment included work as a teacher between 1874-84, rouseabout and barrister. He served as Australian Prime Minister from October 27th 1915 to February 9th 1923. He died on October 28th 1952 in Lindfield, Sydney and is buried in the Northern Suburbs Cemetery, Sydney.
