Australian painter, who spent some time in England, up to 1923 when he settled permanently in Victoria. He was knighted in 1937.

Australian artist. Streeton retired in 1938 to a cottage in Olinda in the Dandenong Ranges where he devoted himself to gardening. He died in 1943 after a long illness.
