Haynes, T. W. (Thomas Watson), 1878-1963
Variant namesChartered accountant and company director. In 1922 Haynes visited Nauru and Ocean Island with the British Phosphate Commission. This visit inspired him to write a novel, "Our daily bread : or a story of the phosphate islands" (London, 1933). See ADB, vol. 9, p. 242.
