Title:
Letters to M. Bigelow and Charlotte Fiske Bates, n.d.
Letter to Bigelow reports that Col. H sends him word that he cannot be at the Shakes. Club meeting on Feb. 9th and that he (Rolfe) must consent to take the part of Malvolio instead of Orsino, if Bigelow cannot make better arrangements for the former. In the letter to Bates, Rolfe praises a lecture by Miss Bates and thanks her for tickets to it, regretting that he could not stop after the lecture to tell her how much he had enjoyed it. In a postscript he says "The so-called 'lectures' I have been giving at the N.E. Conservatory are not lectures at all, but impromptu talks."
