The series includes correspondence with and about members of Congress, former members of Congress, and Congressional officials such as the Sergeant at Arms. In addition to correspondence and memorandums, the series also includes statements, press releases, brochures, and newspaper clippings. Although many of the letters are courtesy notes, a substantial number concern legislation, political issues, foreign policy, and other topics.
