Interviews with Price Daniel concerning his experiences as a member (1939-1945) and Speaker (1943-1945) of the Texas House of Representatives, as Attorney General of Texas (1947-1953), as U.S. Senator (1953-1957), and as Governor of Texas (1957-1963). The interview also includes his observations concerning W. Lee O'Daniel's gubernatorial and senatorial campaigns, Dwight Eisenhower and the presidential elections of 1952 and 1956, the tidelands controversy and the Tidelands Bill, and school integration.
