Allan Morrison papers, [undated] and 1867-1870.

Reminiscences [undated] of Morrison, a north-central Minnesota fur trader, providing data on his activities, descriptions of voyageurs and other traders, Dakota and Ojibwe rivalry, and a short general history of the pre-1820 Lake Superior fur trade. There are also diary entries (1867-1870) describing agricultural activities and other daily routines, and a few copies of letters (1867-1870) by Morrison to Minnesota officials interceding on behalf of Ojibwe Indians who were attempting to obtain annuity increases.
